Dr. Tom Arne graduated with his pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 1981 and his medical degree from Midwestern University in 1986. He completed his internship, a year of surgery residency, his internal medicine residency and a year as Chief Internal Medicine Resident at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He finished his training as a cardiology fellow, as well as being chief fellow, at Lutheran General Hospital/University of Chicago in 1994. After being in private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan for three years and establishing and directing the congestive heart failure program at Butterworth Hospital, he relocated to sunny Florida in 1997. His first years here were spent in private practice with Intercoastal Medical Group, where Dr. Arne successfully transitioned the practice from a primary care group to a multispecialty group. He also established and directed the congestive heart failure program at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. In 2006, Dr. Arne decided to establish his own cardiology practice, Gulfshore Cardiology (now Gulfshore Personalized Care). When he’s not working, he loves to be with his four children. He enjoys exercising. Dr. Arne is truly grateful to the Lord for his patients, his staff and all his blessings.

Anne J. Kearney – Receptionist
Born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and raised in Maryland, Anne moved to Florida with her husband soon after they got married. She worked for the Sarasota County Clerk of Circuit Court for 13 years before deciding to stay home to raise her daughter, Michelle. Now Anne is back in the work force and is happy to be part of the Gulfshore Personalized Care Team.
Erin Ditmars – Medical Assistant
Erin was born and raised in Sarasota Florida. As a native of Sarasota she graduated from Booker high school and went on to graduate from Kaiser University in Radiology in 2006. Her medical experience is extensive with many doctors in the areas that includes working as an x-ray technician and medical assistant. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and is excited about being a part of the Gulfshore team.
Kim Margolis – Office Administrator
Born in New Jersey and has lived in Florida for the past 25 years. A graduate of Coral Shores High School, Plantation Key, Florida. She went on to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Florida Career College in 2012. Her career has been devoted to office administration and management in the areas of oculoplastic and family medicine. In her free time she enjoys the beach, listening to music, watching a good movie and spending time with family and her cats.
